Testament van Henrij Nahuijs uit 1718

Uit het familiearchief De Jong van Beek en Donk komt dit testament van Henrij Nahuijs uit 1718. In dit testament wordt zijn vrouw Huberta van Dompselaer en hun kinderen Pieter, Gerardus, Mari Elisabeth en Catharina tot erfgenamen benoemd.

Het is geschreven in zo goed mogelijk Engels. Bij het transcriberen mogen alle 'ij' worden getypt als 'ij'. Ook al zou er in het Engels een 'y' worden geschreven.

    this to be mij last will and testament in manner and forma

    Verschillen tussen kleine letters en hoofdletters, spaties, regeleinden en witregels worden tijdens de controle genegeerd, maar probeer deze voor de leesbaarheid natuurlijk wel zo letterlijk mogelijk over te nemen.
