Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm researching the death of my ancestor, Captain Henry Royal, who died whilst captaining a ship which was wrecked off the Dutch coast near Egmond aan Zee in 1865. I attach a newspaper article detailing the incident for context.
I have found the death certificate and some notes attached to it in the North Holland Archives, and have established what the certificate says, but need some help to establish what is written in the notes. It is both in 'old handwriting' which is very difficult to read anyway, and I don't speak Dutch! So if anybody is willing to look over it and give me a rough English translation - even if its just general information rather than every word - that would be hugely appreciated!
(i will add the other page and article later, it only lets me post one file)
Thanks
Richard
