Follow up to post 12 August- Orphan Chamber, Delft 1604

I've received from Delft archives what I think is the preceding page to the document I posted on 12 August which with the help of Rene and Dennis was dated 1604.

On their advice I asked for the preceding page p. 49 to the original document, page 50.

The archivist has also provided a link to the follow on page, which is in a separate document- the 1st page I've been advised, which I will attach in a follow on to this post.

I'm hoping what I've been told is correct- fingers crossed :-)

Thanks in advance for any help that can be given in uncovering more of the Schoonhoven sisters' family history.

very best wishes

Anne

Dear Anne,

Nice Delft archives send you the asked documents. That's the only nice thing I'm afraid.

Sadly this documents are not concerning any information you're looking for.

I analysed this fragments above, and they concerns information about:

A family Duijst van Voorhoudt, Jan Boeckel Zasbouts zoon van der Dussen, Arent Zasbouts zoon van der Dussen, and Cornelis Arents zoon van der Dussen, concerning sales by auction of property belonging to minor children. Date: 18 th. of March 1603. Page 149v.

A Neeltgen Ancelmus dochter, widow of late Cornelis Arentssen van der Dussen. Date: around the 14 th. of May 1604. Page 150.

A Gerrit Gerritssen and the children of Gerrit Aertssen. And: A Louris Geritssen alias Aerts zoon, blaeuverwer and Gerrit Claessen Woestenverwer as guardians to the minor children of Gerrit Aertssen Blaeuverwer and his wife Sijmontgen Olofs dochter, concerning an inventory of goods. Date: 14 th. of August 1612. Page: 151.

Unfortunately not what you're looking for.

Best wishes,

Dennis

Aiii, I think that.....

You mentionned yourself in this post of 20 th. August: page 49 and page 50. In your post of 12 th. August Idid not see a pagenumber on the scanned fragment of 1604.

The scans in this post of 20 th. August are pages: 149, 150 and 151........

Contact Delft archives again I'm afraid?

Best wishes again Anne.

Dennis

Hello Dennis

Many thanks for tackling the dense text of the document to establish it doesn't concern the Schoonhoven family.

The confusion with the numbers I think is because although the pages are 149, 150, 151 they are in 2 separate files. I named them p.49, p.50, p.51 as that is the scan page number on Delft archives website, not the document number.

Anyway not to worry, as long as I'm not missing anything that's fine.

The archivist has very kindly helped me with something else, which I'll post separately.

very best wishes

Anne
