1701- attestation
This deed concerns Petronella van Dijssel (attestant) and Gerrit and David Kam (cooper) and De Clauw pottery factory.
I presume this deed is connected to the sale deed Geert transcribed yesterday. But what it all means I'm not sure?

Anne, this concerns the fulfillment of the clauses in the earlier title deed about the materials of the platteelbackeije for which Petronella receives from the buyers Gerrit and David Kam the sum of 3,168 guilders.

That makes sense. I've seen other pottery factory sales whereby a 3rd party assesses the worth of the remaining materials in the platteelbackeije.
Does it say if the 3,168 guilders are extra to the 10,000 guilders paid for the business?

p.s I find it interesting that sometimes widows write their own names, then add 'widow of' but sometimes they just sign their own family name.
