Unfortunately, the deed does not disclose much about the reasons.
The deed is a revocation. The revocation was made on 18 June 1696 before the aldermen (schepenen) of the town of Megen by the honorable gentleman Gerardus Segade, dean (plebaan) of Megen. He decided 'because several legal reasons had brought him to revoke, to annul, to declare invalid certain a certain conditional promise that would bequeath a donation of 2000 guilders to Petronella van Dijssel, widow of the esteemed gentleman Leonard van der Leth and Anna Maria van der Leth, daughter of Petronella, living in Delft, as mentioned in an earlier will made by Gerardus Segade on 7 June 1690' (new style; this is a period where parts of the Netherlands still used the Julian calendar; new style = Gregorian calendar).
As stated, there is no specification; you may need to search for the will composed by Gerardus Segade on 7 June 1690 to discover more. The only indication is in the term: conditional donation; it may be that Petronella and her daughter did not meet the conditions for the bequeathed donation anymore.
