1681- burial of a child

Just a quick question- for once :-)

The second entry under 12th is  a child of Joost de Bergh of Gasthuislaan? Then there are 2 words after that..possibly h Hoff?  Does anyone know what that means?

I notice it's written after most of the kinder entries.

Many thanks

Anne

Dear Anne, the first word seems to start with a b, is it short for begraven?! Hoff means the cemetery (kerkhof), other people were buried in the church or even in the choir (koor).

Ah that's great, thanks Otto.

Good to know:-)

best wishes

As addition to the correct response by Otto: the first character is a k:, hence short for k(erck)hoff.

Super-thanks Rene.

Thanks, René, the k's in k. hoff and kerk are really identical, I did not pay enough attention!
