Nee, volgens de transcirpiteregels schrijf je een y als jet daar tegenwoordig een i zou schrijven. Zo schrijf je dus ook 'stuyvers'. 

Verder heb je gelijk: het is inderdaad Kittesteyn, zonder 'n' dus.

Just to check-Anna paid 1,800 guilders for the house and land? The smaller amounts were for tax?

Cornelis Michielsz Soetens was the uncle of one of my other pottery ladies, but of course he's most well known as the man who blew up the gun powder store in Delft creating the 'Thunderclap' in 1654 :-(

I also found the discussion about spelling which Paul raised very interesting. When I'm writing about my ladies I've chosen one spelling of their name and stick with it (and will explain to my readers in the introduction why I've done that) as I think it causes confusion when there's a lack of consistency with 17th century spellings, specially for non-Dutch readers. For one family I found their surname recorded 15 different ways!
