Hello Mark, You are requesting the transcription of four pages of an old Spanisch tekst. You haven't received a response yet. Dear Mark, this Spanish hand differs a lot from Northern European written acts! I can see at least it is a notarial act, a notario publico is mentioned clearly, and at the bottom end is a notarial sign. it mentions the town Sevilla and a monastery called Santa Maria d las Mevas. A full decipherment would take for me a lot of time, because my (medieval) Spnaish is not strong... As for dating the act I can decipher the month October and sesenta et seys, 66, but not the century: de myll et quarta en dos (?).
Dear Mark, this script differs much from the late medieval scripts found in Northern Europe! It is a notarial act with a notarial sign at the end; a notario publico is recorded in the text. I cannot yet read the date completely , only that it was enacted in October, possibly in sesante et seys. The town Sevilla is mentioned and the monastery of Santa Maria de las Mevas.
On the last page of the first manuscript, I read the date as 22 december 1464.
(veynte y dos dias de desienber anno ... mill y quatrocientos y sesenta y quatro)
The date on the added page is 21 september 1464.
Mark
