1662-notary deed?

This notary deed concerns Jan Arentsz van Straten. He signs it Johannes van Straten.

Other than that I don't know what it's about, other than the deed was written in 1662 by the notary Dirck Rees.

with many thanks as always.

Anne

Hi Anne, which date or page is it? The link only redirects to the entire volume for 1662.

Maybe it's the deed dated 7-5-1662?

O'h dear- sorry about that!

Let me double check and I'll let you know.

Thanks :-)

Well done Geert-yes it's the deed from May 1662.

Hopefully attached are the 3 pages from the deed. Very interesting that he signs himself 'Johannes van Straten' with no reference to his father Arentz?

Rene-you're right, the URL refers to the whole volume of 1662- which is hardly helpful. I now see I've saved a couple more deeds for this person- Jan (Johannes as he calls himself) Arentsz van Straten, and they all have the same URL. I didn't notice that before :-(

So in future I'll add the pages as usual.

Many thanks both.

Anne

Sorry- I'm away from home so the internet is not so reliable.

I'll try again to attach p.1 (and afterwards p.3, which is basically signatures).

At last...hopefully successfully!
